Apr 17, 2018Sylvia was a homemaker and the cafeteria manager at Papillion Junior High School. She volunteered at the Stephen Center and was active in many church groups at St. Mary Catholic Church. Preceded in death by husband, John; parents, William and Gretta Oak. Survived by children, Michael Elson (Jana), Steve Elson (Terri), and Paula Wagner; grandchildren, Mitchell and Zachary Elson, Craig Weathers (Trisha), Emily Kirchmann (Russ), Ethan (Amy), Erica, Erin, Elliot, Elijah and Evan Wagner; great-grandchildren, Avlyn and Royce Weathers; numerous siblings and their families in Dublin, Ireland. Ladies' Guild Rosary at 10:30am followed by MEMORIAL MASS: 11am Tuesday, December 19th, St. Mary Catholic Church, 2302 Crawford Street, Bellevue. Interment Calvary Mausoleum (at a later date).
